GHL custom CSS and JS: the two lines that install the customizer
GHL custom CSS and custom JS are two boxes in Agency Settings, Company, White Label. The customizer needs one script line in Custom JS and one @import line in Custom CSS, pasted once, in about 2 minutes. After that, every change you save in the editor goes live without touching GoHighLevel again.
CUSTOM JS · THEME, MENUS, DASHBOARDS, WIDGETS
<script src="https://customizer.ghlcustomercare.com/l/YOUR-KEY.js"></script>CUSTOM CSS · LOGIN PAGE DESIGN
@import url("https://customizer.ghlcustomercare.com/lc/YOUR-KEY.css");Paste both in GoHighLevel, Agency Settings, Company, White Label. YOUR-KEY is filled in for you on the editor's Get code screen.
ST-01 · THE ANSWER
Where does GHL custom CSS go?
The short answer
GoHighLevel keeps both boxes on one page: Agency Settings, Company, White Label. Custom JS runs inside the app after sign-in and carries the theme, menu, dashboard, board and widgets. Custom CSS loads everywhere including the login page, so the login design rides on a single @import line placed at the top of it.
- Two lines, pasted once, at agency level.
- Your own key is filled in on the editor’s Get code screen.
- Every saved change after that goes live on the next page load.
- Remove the two lines and GoHighLevel is back to stock.

Six steps
How to install it, click by click
Sign in to the customizer
Open https://customizer.ghlcustomercare.com/ and sign in with the email and temporary password from your welcome email. Change the password when asked.
Save a design
Pick a theme, and anything else your grade includes, then press Save. The install works the same whether you save one change or fifty.
Open Get code
The Get code screen shows two lines with your own key already in them: a script line and a CSS @import line. Copy the first.
Paste the script into Custom JS
In GoHighLevel go to Agency Settings, Company, White Label. Paste the script line into Custom JS and save.
Paste the import into Custom CSS
On the same page, paste the @import line at the very top of Custom CSS and save. This is what styles the login page.
Reload any sub-account
Open a sub-account and refresh. The design is there. From now on, every change you save in the editor appears on the next page load.
ST-03 · TRY PRIVACY MODE
Included in every grade
Once it is in, blur the client details
Privacy mode ships with the install. Press the eye button in the frame below and names, emails and phone numbers blur, which is handy on screen-shares and recorded demos.
Loading the live preview
Holo Pearl Press the eye button on the right of the header inside the frame: names, emails and phone numbers blur. Press it again to bring them back. Handy on screen-shares and sales calls.
ST-04 · IF IT DOES NOT SHOW
Troubleshooting
Four things to check
Saved in the editor?
The loader serves the last saved version. An unsaved change in the editor is not live yet.
Pasted at agency level?
The boxes live in Agency Settings, Company, White Label, not inside a sub-account’s own settings.
@import at the very top?
CSS ignores an @import that comes after other rules. Move it to line one of Custom CSS.
Hard refresh
Browsers cache aggressively. A hard refresh, or a private window, shows what a client sees.

Install questions
GHL custom CSS and JS, answered
Agency Settings, Company, White Label, Custom CSS. That box is applied across the agency and is also loaded on the login page, which is why the customizer’s login design travels as a CSS @import placed at the top of it.
On the same page: Agency Settings, Company, White Label, Custom JS. The customizer’s single script line goes there and loads the theme, menu, dashboard, board and widgets for every sub-account.
GoHighLevel does not run Custom JS until someone has signed in, so the login page cannot be styled by the script. It does load Custom CSS there, so the login design gets its own CSS line.
No. The lines point at your workspace, not at one version of the design. Save in the editor and every sub-account picks up the change on its next page load.
Keep the @import line at the very top of Custom CSS, as CSS requires, and your own rules underneath. Rules you wrote yourself can still override the design where you need them to.
Delete the two lines from Custom JS and Custom CSS and save. GoHighLevel goes back to stock on the next page load; your designs stay saved in the customizer.
It is the same mechanism GoHighLevel provides for white-label scripts. Add only scripts you trust, keep your account email secure, and remember the contact actions bar acts with each user’s own GoHighLevel permissions and nothing more.
We do not take GoHighLevel access for customizer accounts. The paste is two lines and about two minutes; if a step does not match what you see, contact support with a screenshot and we will point you to the right box.
