Obsidian Gold A copy of the GoHighLevel opportunities board with a sample pipeline. Stage colours go by column position, so any pipeline with any stage names picks them up.
ST-03 · THE ANSWER
How do stage colours work on any pipeline?
The short answer
Colours are given out by column position, never by stage name. The first stage takes the first colour, the second the next, and they repeat after the last. So every pipeline in every sub-account picks up the design, whatever its stages are called and however many there are.
- 12 board designs, including dark boards such as Obsidian Gold.
- Stage headers as cards, plain, tinted, filled or underlined, with counts as text or badges.
- Deal cards keep still on hover, so dragging stays exact.
- The list view behind GoHighLevel’s toggle can follow the same design.

Pipeline board designs
What changes on the conveyor
Stage colours by position
Nothing is tied to stage names, so every pipeline in every sub-account gets a colour per column, repeating after the last.
Stage columns
Headers as cards, plain, tinted, filled or underlined, a colour dot, deal counts as text or a badge, and soft, tinted, glass or outlined column grounds.
Deal cards
Background, border, radius, shadow, the stage colour as a stripe or dot, tinted cards and three densities.
Dragging still works
Cards never move on hover, so dragging a deal to another stage is as exact as on the stock board.
Values that stand out
The deal value in bold and in the stage colour, with your own colours for deal names, labels and values.
Light and dark boards
Light boards on solid, gradient or mesh grounds, and dark boards with light text on dark columns and cards.

ST-06 · ON THE FLOOR
For agencies
Where it earns its keep
Sales teams on a shared screen
A board with a colour per stage shows the Monday meeting where deals are stuck before anyone opens a filter.
A dashboard and board that match
Boards share families with the dashboard designs, so Obsidian on the board and Obsidian on the dashboard read as one product.
Clients who drag deals on a laptop all day
Calmer columns and clearer values are less tiring than grey on grey, and nothing about the drag changes.

GoHighLevel pipeline design: what agencies ask
No. It changes how the board looks in the browser and nothing else. Pipelines, stages, deals and automations stay exactly as they are.
By column position, not by name. The first stage gets the first colour and so on, repeating after the last. Any pipeline with any number of stages gets a colour for every column.
Yes. Cards stay put on hover and the board keeps GoHighLevel’s own drag and drop, so moving deals works as before.
It can be. The table behind GoHighLevel’s list toggle can follow the same design. The preview on this page shows the board view.
Yes. Boards and dashboards come in matching families, and both can build their colours from your brand colour.
Yes. Dark boards such as Obsidian Gold put light text on dark columns and cards. Light boards sit on solid, gradient or mesh grounds.
It starts at Forge, alongside the dashboard designer, mega menus and the contact actions bar.
It is a stylesheet applied by the same small loader as the theme. There is no extra request per card and nothing runs while you drag.
